Collaborative performance with BIGYUKI and Neutone at “Craft Alive”

BIGYUKI feat. Neutone will perform at ”CraftAlive,” a music event with AI x live performance, at Daikanyama UNIT on 12/9 (Fri) as a collaborative performance with Qosmo. Qosmo’s Nao Tokui will also perform “AI Generative Live Set,” an advanced AI DJ performance using the latest real-time sound synthesis AI.New York-based keyboardist/producer BIGYUKI will premiere a new type of performance using Neutone, an AI audio plug-in and a performance platform for AI audio synthesis/music generation models. A number of AI models, including those trained with BIGYUKI’s own voice, will be used to perform the previously-impossible real-time tonal conversion, as well as AI-augmented solo performances, such as jam sessions with AI rhythm generation.

He began piano lessons at the age of 6, and after graduating from high school, he enrolled in the Berklee College of Music in the U.S. After moving to New York, he joined Talib Kweli and Bilal’s band, and also played with Robert Glasper in Bilal’s band. Both albums debuted at #1 in the U.S., making him the first Japanese artist to have two #1 albums in the U.S. He is currently touring the world with Antonio Sanchez, José James, and other genre-defying artists, expanding his artist activities.
