Qosmo supervised the special feature 'Co-creation between AI and US' for IDEA magazine Issue 404

Qosmo supervised the IDEA magazine issue 404. IDEA is a quarterly magazine published in Tokyo, Japan that focuses on graphic design and typography. Issue 404 is special feature about ‘Co-creation between AI and US, Generation and Creation in Visual Expression’. In addition to supervision, Naoki Ise and Ryosuke Nakajima took charge of the cover artwork, and Nao Tokui wrote the preface. Moreover, Nakajima is in charge of illustrations such as the frontispiece and those accompanying the short story “The Ghost in the Machine” by author Kyosuke Higuchi. Features numerous graphics generated using AI, including Nakajima's own models. Additionally, it includes a discussion titled “From the frontlines of co-creation AI as a means of expanding creativity”, in which Qosmo participated along with graphic designer Yasuhito Nagahara and artist Scott Allen.

The cover artwork visually represents the gradual emergence of substance from noise, portraying a transition from chaos to the generation/creation of order. Generated images of similar concepts using Stable Diffusion. Nakajima was responsible for generating the images, and Ise created the collage using the generated image material.
