Hosting of the AI audio plugin development competition ”NAP”
We hosted the AI Audio Plugin development competition Neural Audio Plugin Competition (NAP) from February 15th for approximately one month.
This competition, organized by Qosmo/Neutone in collaboration with The Audio Programmer, included workshops and related talks about development. It aimed to explore AI tools that are useful for music creators, involving researchers, engineers, and artists.
During the period, a workshop titled "Neutone Workshop: Real-time Audio Plugin and SDK" was conducted, where they discussed the construction of Neural Audio models for Neutone. The entire workshop can be viewed on The Audio Programmer's official YouTube channel, so if you're interested, please take a look.
NAP, which lasted for a month, featured tutorials, panels, and discussions on the latest trends in AI for audio plugins. There were 19 impressive submissions to the competition. Thanks to the collaboration of sponsoring companies, the competition winners were provided with cash prizes and additional rewards such as licenses for Max/JUCE.
Moving forward, we will continue to showcase the forefront of AI and music as well as spread awareness and influence in this area.
