Neutone Announces New Project “Project LYDIA”
Neutone, a subsidiary of Qosmo, has announced the new initiative “Project LYDIA”, in collaboration with Roland Corporation’s Roland Future Design Lab.
Developed together with the Roland Future Design Lab, Project LYDIA is a technology preview of an audio-effects device that allows users to train and install their own custom AI models. At its core lies Neutone’s real-time timbre-transformation engine Morpho, now brought into a hardware format for the first time.
Project LYDIA embodies the DIY spirit in the age of AI—aiming to become an “AI instrument” that lets artists train their own AI models and intuitively interact with them. For Qosmo, this represents a major step forward in exploring new forms of creativity at the intersection of AI and art.
