AI Music Detection
In recent years, the rapid growth of AI music generation services has led to a surge of fully AI-generated tracks being uploaded to streaming platforms. At the same time, cases of large-scale automated uploads and misuse by bots have been reported, raising concerns about the impact on artists’ rights and music culture.
AI Music Detector is a system designed to identify fully AI-generated tracks. By learning the structural and acoustic characteristics commonly found in music created by services such as Suno and Udio, it currently achieves a detection accuracy of approximately 90%. In addition to our free web-based detection tool and Chrome extension, we have also launched a paid API for enterprise clients.
Through automated classification and flagging of audio files, the system supports more efficient pre-screening processes, account management, and compliance with platform guidelines. This service does not reject the use of AI in music creation; rather, it aims to support the healthy and responsible use of AI within the music ecosystem.

We constantly finetune the model to detect AI music generated using the latest models and strive to maintain a small false positive —cases where human-created music is incorrectly identified as AI-generated— to avoid negatively impacting human artists. Custom finetuning available on demand.
Confidence Scores
Our algorithm outputs both the probability of a song being fully AI generated as well as a confidence score that makes integration in a full pipeline easier.

AI-Generated Music Detection in the Web Browser
Based on the research paper SONICS (2025) by Rahman et al., we developed and deployed an AI model that determines whether tracks played on the Spotify Web Player were generated entirely by AI services such as Suno or Udio. The model runs fully in the browser (on-device) and can process dozens of tracks within seconds.
